how difficult did you find switching over from window$ to suse linux?
and, why did you choose the suse flavour over any others?
first off, i initially found it very difficult (my machine was too new and too incompatible), but now that i'm using a much older machine and suse has grown more mature, i'm finding it very easy.
i chose debian first actually, only to be annoyed with how ugly it looked and the fact that the 2.6 kernal on the installation CD kept screwing up my machine at boot (the 2.4 kernal i was made to run brought to mind MS-DOS). suse is aesthetically pleasing and intuitive. plus, it's compatible with my stuff.
